Background
This customer had contacted us after recommendation from one of her neighbours where we had previously undertaken a kitchen refurb. We assisted the customer to find an architect to develop plans that met her requirements.
Objective
This customer had a desire to increase the size of her kitchen through the construction of a small side extension to the existing house. Although the extension was small in comparison to the vast majority of our extensions it essentially doubled the size of her kitchen.
Scope of Work
The works began by lifting the block-paving driveway & excavating and constructing the foundations and slab flooring. We built the extension using face bricks to match the existing house, and the roof constructed with tiles designed to match the existing house and installed new steels to enable the knock-through and made new drainage connections. The plumbing scope included installation of new Combi-boiler and the electrical scope included replacing a dated Consumer Unit.
Our scope concluded with the levelling of the floor, re-boarding & plastering through-out, the installation of new kitchen together with skirting and architrave.
